So, Cloak and Dagger is now on "hold." Marvel is apparently doing some sort of crossover event and plans to use the characters... but doesn't want "conflicting storylines to affect continuity" lolz rite? so I suppose that's it for the 5 issues I'm working on. Still getting paid for that first issue I finished, which is nice.

So I was bummed, but I'm over it. I hope Marvel will let me play with them again someday.

I  still have the gig with WIldstorm, so I hope that doesn't fall through. orz

... I am still weirded out by this. I know I just did a SDCC recap, but I feel this deserves its own post.

I'll be illustrating a 5-issue miniseries of Cloak and Dagger!!!11one!!

It'll be written by Valerie D'Orazio and colored by Emily Warren. The cover for the first issue is by Takeshi Miyazawa. This is gonna be a good lookin' book, yo. I met Emily at SDCC this year and she is awesomesauce. I can't even express how excited I am about this. ^__^

The  project was finally announced at the Women in Marvel panel at SDCC on Sunday, and they showed my concept sketches which Emily had colored. I ... kinda wish Marvel let me know they were gonna do that so I could draw something new. Those sketches were... a bit rushed. ^^;
